Further Thoughts: Cost-Per-Transaction Model.
I’ve been thinking more about my previous writing on the cost-per-transaction model.
A more accurate framework is starting to shape, and I wanted to capture my thoughts here before they disappear!
I previously wrote that one needs to account for an initiative’s upfront and ongoing project costs to truly calculate the cost-per-transaction.
I think there should also be an upfront declaration of what a “good” cost-per-transaction looks like, what a “bad” cost-per-transaction looks like, and the specific cost where the project is terminated — a type of line in the sand where it feels pointless to continue.
